The Galway gospel choir was founded in 2001.

Its mission : To bring together people of different ages and cultures from Galway city and its environs, through the medium of novel music and to allow people the opportunity to express themselves creatively in a warm and welcoming environment.

The Galway Gospel Choir actively tours and performs both nationally and internationally and through the years the choir has raised over €10,000 for local charities such as COPE, Fairgreen Men’s Shelter, Access Music Project, Simon Community, and the Kilcornan Center.
